Happy Friday and welcome! It's Springtime, my favourite time of the year and although the temperatures here in Melbourne seem to be slow to rise, the garden is showing good signs and we are definitely enjoying the lighter mornings and evenings!
It's time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink and this week we have one of Tina's popular letter challenges. Working our way through the alphabet we have the letter "K" for us all to use as the main focus of our projects this week. It's one of the trickier letters for sure but as always our talented and lovely design team really did an amazing job of finding 'K" themed projects to inspire you so I hope you can take a moment to pop on over and take a peek and we'd love you to join us.
For my "K" element I chose a rather cute Kitty image and coloured him using Copics. The background has a light water colour wash and a sprinkling of sequins.
One new tool that is fantastic at helping with sequin placement is SU's Take Your Pick. It uses some putty inside the pen "nib" and this means you can pick up sequins and place them perfectly with ease.
The sparkly silver ribbon is left over from Saleabration and is so sparkly it did upset the photos a little but it looks lovely in real life.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you can take a moment to pop on over to Just Add Ink and see the amazing cards the design team have made to inspire you and I look forward to seeing what you will create with this fun challenge too!
Happy stamping until next time,
Jan
What a cute (and fabulously coloured) kitty Jan! This is such a bright and elegant spring card! Lou x
