It's been another week of mild temperatures here in Victoria but with floods, bushfires and cyclones effecting other states we are the lucky ones. We popped out to the beach last weekend before the cloud arrived for some puppy playtime and splashes. In all honesty the humans enjoy the sand and water just as much but it seems to sounds better if we say we do it for the pups don't you think π
As it's Friday, it's time for our new challenge at Just Add Ink and Rochelle has a fun technique for us all to use this week. She wants us to add Embossing to our projects - so that could be dry, heat, paste - whatever sort of embossing you'd like to add we'd love to see it! Our lovely design team have created a fabulous variety of cards to inspire you so I hope you can take a moment to pop on over and we'd love to have you join us.
I needed another female birthday card and the new Wonderful Romance stamp just arrived and was beckoning me....after colouring the image with Blends, I was looking for a colour to make the image pop a little. Enter Lovely Lipstick which I'm now calling Popping Pink πas that is what it seems to do. For the Embossing elements I've used Dry Embossing for the background and the "Birthday" is Heat Embossed.
There is some Wink of Stella applied to all the flowers and I fussy cut another to add on it's own along with the ribbon and a sprinkling of sequins.
Inks: Versamark, Momento Tuxedo Black, Blends - Lovely Lipstick, Pink Pirouette, Old Olive)
Stamps: Wonderful Romance, Well Said
Accessories: Big Shot, Lace Dynamic EF, Well Written, framelits, Wonderful Florals framelits, Whisper White Flax Ribbon, Metallic Sequins Assortment, White EP, Gold Sequin Trim
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you can take a moment to pop on over to Just Add Ink and see all the inspiration from the design team and I look forward to seeing what type of Embossing you choose to add to your projects this week.
Happy stamping until next time,
Jan
