Happy Friday folks and welcome πIt's another hot week here in Melbourne -a sweltering 44 degrees today and it's going to be a holiday weekend to celebrate Australia Day so lots of people out and about celebrating at parks and cooling off at beaches.
So what is needed for celebrations? Why cake of course!! πSo Jo provided us with this great Inspiration Photo for us to use for our new challenge this week at Just Add Ink. Our design team have created some awesome projects to inspire you so I hope that you might take a moment to pop on over and have a look and we'd love you to join us too.
I decided to go fairly literal this time especially as my sister sent me some photos of some very similarly, gorgeous cupcakes for Miss 4's birthday party. This is the Saleabration stamp set, Hello Cupcake so a lot of fussy cutting but also a lot of embossing and sparkle!
The icing layers are first stamped with versamark and then the individual colours. After which they were sprinkled with Iridescent Ice embossing powder andheat set to that they really sparkle! The cupcake base had a similar treatment as dye inks wipe off vellum card stock but you can add some Clear EP and the colours are then nicely set and safe to touch.
As you can see, I'm still in love with the Rectangles - creating a frame to hold the Vellum layer - and that gorgeous Lovely Lipstick Foil has got to be the best thing ever offered as a Saleabration free item don't you think? I will be stocking up that's for sure π
Card Stock: Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White (Thick and standard), Vellum, Lovely Lipstick FoilDesigner Series Paper:How Sweet it is (If in Australia or NZ this should be called Sweet As π)

What a fun card! That paper hadn't appealed to me, but I love it on your card. Perfect for a 4 year old.
