Varied Alphabet for JAI #434

Hello and happy Friday and welcome back! It's been a busy couple of weeks with last weekend being Stampin Up's Onstage event. I was lucky enough to attend the Melbourne On Stage Local with some of our JAI friends - the team being split between the Melbourne and Brisbane venues. And it was with great joy that we learned that THREE of our JAI design team mates are on this year's Artisan Design Team so an extra special time for all of us as we celebrate their fabulous achievements!! (BTW I will be back later to share some swaps and roomie gifts I made for the weekend 😊)

And it's also time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink! This week Nikki has challenged us to Add a Big Bold Sentiment to our projects. The design team had such a lot of fun with this and so I hope you have a moment to pop on over to see the  projects and are inspired to join us. There are so many options and themes the world or word...is your oyster 😀

For this week's challenge I actually made 2 cards. Both follow the same design and use similar products - just use different papers for the bases and colours. The "big bold sentiment" is from the Lined Alphabet stamp set and some Wink of Stella is applied to the card stock.

Version 2 is similar - just a reverse of the colours and a slightly different background DSP - but both are from the same pack.

Hopefully you can see the Wink of Stella touches on the sentiment and flowers.

Card stock: Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper: Delightful Daisy
Inks: Versamark, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Night of Navy, Garden Green
Stamps: Lined Alphabet,Varied Vases, Sunshine Sayings
Accessories: Big Shot, Layering Alphabet Edgelits, White EP, Vase Builder Punch, Wink of Stella, Glitter Enamel Dots

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a moment to pop on over to Just Add Ink and I look forward to seeing what you will create with this fun challenge too!

Happy stamping until next time 😊

Kelly's Stampin Friends Birthday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome! You may have just arrived from the lovely Tina Gillespie's blog and her fabulous projects as part of Kelly's Stamping Friend's Birthday Blog Hop. But if not you can check them out by clicking on her name and the list of all the first 20 Participants are at the bottom of this post and I'm sure you'll find lots of inspiration along the way from this very talented group. The purpose of the Hop is to celebrate Kelly Kent's birthday today - such a great reason to celebrate this lovely lady who I know from being team mates at Just Add Ink together.

For my card, I have a sneak peek for you of a new stamp set that will be available in the new Stampin Catalogue available to order from June 1. It's a pretty Photopolymer stamp set and punch bundle and was designed by Mary Fish so is perfect for CAS images.
I've combined the stamped and punched images with some retiring papers and then layered some different textures together.

Thanks for stopping by today and now you're heading off to say hello to the lovely Birthday girl, Kelly Kent herself and the fabulous projects that I know you will love. Enjoy!
