Well this week is going so fast and it's been a week of firsts - the All Blacks became the only Team to ever win the rugby World Cup back to back, and Michelle Payne also created history yesterday by being the first woman ever to win the Melbourne Cup (Horserace that stops the nation) ! If we were going for three firsts I guess we are still waiting but Sally the Lab is making a pretty good recovery from her knee surgery last week - walking mainly on all 4 legs already and keen for longer than the 5-10 min outings she is currently allowed so that is great too.
And being Wednesday it is also time for a new sketch at The Paper Craft Crew! The Team have created a great variety of cards to inspire you so I hope you can take a moment and pop on over to see.
Here is the sketch:
And here is my card:
I did leave out the element to the side from the sketch as the DSP here is quite busy and I changed the bow to be some ribbon behind this row of stars that were created using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits's accessories. There is some Lost Lagoon ribbon added underneath for some softness :-)
Whilst this DSP is retired this is for some lovely friends who have just announced they are expecting baby boy number 2 and these colours are what they have used to decorate their nursery so I couldn't resist using it.
Designer Series Paper: Sweet Dreams (Retired)
Inks: Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey
Stamps: Made With Love
Accessories: Big Shot, Baby's First's Framelits, Mini Treat Bag Framelits, Lost Lagoon ribbon
Non SU: Stitched Rectangle Dynamics Dies (MFT), Stitched Circles Dynamic Dies (MFT)
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you can take a moment to stop by the Paper Craft Crew and see all the fabulous cards the Team have made to inspire you and I look forward to seeing what you will create with this sketch too!
Happy stamping until next time,
Jan
This is so adorable, Jan & perfect for a new little man. Love how you've used the stars & the paper was indeed a perfect choice.

Such a pretty card Jan, so adorable. Love the little birdie. And I am so happy you like the small wooden tag. I am so glad to see it there, but it is not the first thing one sees, it is your gorgeous card. Hugs. And that is really good news too about Sally! xo
ReplyDeleteLove the card, Jan! Colours are beautiful & that's not easy to say for a baby boy card! I really like the way you popped a couple stars on the onesie to match your other stars. - katerina
ReplyDeletePS- love the wooden 'J', very elegant!!
