Just Add Ink #517 Magnolia Season

Happy Friday everyone and welcome back! Here in Melbourne we are starting to get used to our "New Normal" with Stage 4 Restrictions for 6 weeks. It does mean more time for crafting so that is one good thing to look forward to. I hope that however Covid is affecting you that you are keeping well and safe and taking each day at a time.

And it's time for another new challenge at Just Add Ink and this week we have this great fun sketch from Kim. Our design team had a lot of fun with this one and I hope that you can pop on over and take a peek. We'd love you to join us too! Sketches are a great way to get started as you just have to fit your images into the spaces.

Part of our Stage 4 Restrictions here is only One hour of exercise a day. We usually try for 2 walks a day, with the second more just for doggy essentials. So now these walks are just a little bit more precious.
One thing that has been lovely though is seeing the neighbours gardens and some gorgeous Magnolias in bloom! So that decided my focal point for this week's challenge 😀

The lovely large spray was coloured with Blends. Lovely Lipstick and Pink Pirouette for the petals and Old Olive and Shaded Spruce add some detail to the leaves. I finally have access to all my craft stash after 8 months of being packed away and so found my Gems and teamed that with some soft DSP and the gorgeous tassel.

Card Stock: Pretty Peacock, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper: Peaceful Poppies
Inks: Momento Tuxedo Black, Versamark
Blends: Lovely Lipstick, Pink Pirouette (retired), Old Olive, Shaded Spruce
Stamps: Good Morning Magnolia
Accessories: Die Cutting Machine, Magnolia Memory Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies, White EP,  Best Dressed Tassels, Gold Faceted Gems

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you can pop on over to Just Add Ink and I look forward to seeing what you will create with this great and fun sketch too!

Til next time,
Jan
