Sending Floral Hugs for JAI #402

Welcome and a happy Good Friday to you!! This week really does seem to have flown and now Easter and school holidays are upon us. Here in Australia, this weekend also sees the end of Daylight Savings - and is a rather sad goodbye to Summer so it really is a busy time. But it will be nice to see the sun a little earlier in the mornings before Winter decides to make it's presence felt.

We have a new challenge at Just Add Ink and this week Nikki has suggested a fun and fabulous one for us. To Just Choose Two - out of Stencil, Foil or Feathers. There are so many possibilities so to get you started the design team have created an amazing array of cards so I hope you can take a moment to pop on over and take a look and we'd love to see you join us :-)

The choices were so enticing but in the end I went with the familiar Foil and Stencil :-) The floral image stamp set is new to me though - the pretty Lots of Lavender is one of the Saleabration Free sets. Here it's embossed in Silver to go with the foil word, and then coloured using an Aqua Painter and ink pads.

For the background, a little Smoky Slate re-inker is added to Shimmery White embossing paste so it contrasts stands out on the white card stock.

The silver foil hugs sits over a Berry Burst layer to add a little extra colour too.

Card stock: Berry Burst, Tranquil Tide, Whisper White (thick), Silver Foil
Inks: Berry Burst, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizazz, Tranquil Tide, Versamark, Smoky Slate (Re-inker)
Stamps: Lovely Inside and Out, Lots of Lavender (Saleabration)
Accessories: Big Shot, Lovely Words Thinlits, Pattern Party Decorative Masks, Shimmery Embossing Paste, White Embossing Powder, Silver Embossing Powder, Glitter Enamel Dots

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you can take a moment to pop on over to Just Add Ink and see all the gorgeous inspiration from our lovely team and I look forward to seeing what you will create with your chosen Two out of Three choice this week.

Happy stamping until next time,

Jan
