Happy Friday folks and welcome :-) It's a long weekend here in Melbourne and there will be a couple of things going on in the city - a Grand Prix and a Moomba Parade - think bird man competitions and the like. Or an extra day to spend at the craft table :-)
Our new challenge at Just Add Ink this week is suggested by Chloe . She's chosen a fun theme for us all to use - to Just Add Water. That could be water colouring, water themed creatures or anything to do with Water as the main focus for your creation. As always our lovely design team have made a stunning array of cards to inspire you so please do pop on over and hopefully join us.
For my card I chose rain as my water element. I water coloured the background and then stamped and coloured images from Weather Together to make an encouragement card. A number of my friends are going through some tough times at the moment - it seems to be a season of it - so I might need to make a few of these.
Yes, there was some fussy cutting in the flowers but it's worth the effort to make the umbrella look generous and overflowing. I kept the design really simple with pops of colour and just added a little bling with the sequin trim and rhinestones.
Sorry about the colour variations in the photos - it comes from taking photos at different times of day in different light. Lesson learned.
Card stock: Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you can take a moment to pop on over to Just Add Ink and see all the cards our lovely design team have created to inspire you and I look forward to seeing what you will create with this fun water theme this week too!
Happy stamping until next time,
Jan
